Head Coach | Josh Peltier

Coach Peltier is entering is 6th season as the Head Coach for the Raptors. Coach Peltier has an overall record of 100-34 as the East Ridge Head Coach. In the 2022-2023 season the Raptors secured their 3rd Suburban East Conference Championship in 4 years with a final record of 22-7 (17-1 in conference) and advanced to the section 4AAAA championship game. The Raptors finished the 2021-2022 season 23-6 including going 16-2 and winning the Suburban East Conference Championship. They secured the #1 seed in section 4AAAA and advanced to the section final. In a pandemic shortened 2021 the Raptors finish 12-7 overall losing in the section semifinals. In year 1 Coach Peltier lead the Raptors to the Suburban East Conference Championship with a final conference record of 17-1 and a section 4AAAA #1 seed. The Raptors finished the season 23-6 losing at the buzzer in the section finals and finished the season ranked #7 in class AAAA. Prior to coming to East Ridge, he spent two seasons as the head boys basketball coach at Eagan High School. In his two seasons  at Eagan he lead the Wildcats to back to back section semi-final appearances and led one of the greatest year over year improvements of any program in the state in 2018-2019. Prior to Eagan, he spent three seasons as the top assistant at Wayzata High School. While at Wayzata Coach Peltier helped lead the Trojans to a 70-19 record over three seasons. During the 2016-17 season he assisted in leading them to a school record 28 wins and a 3rd place finish in the 2017 Class AAAA State Tournament. The Trojans reached two section finals while eclipsing 21 wins every season at Wayzata. Prior to coaching at Wayzata, Coach Peltier was an assistant coach for four seasons at Rosemount Area High School where they made the section finals in 2013. Coach Peltier attended the University of St. Thomas where he was a part of four conference championship teams and named team captain his senior season. Coach Peltier currently teaches Business Education at East Ridge High School. He lives in Woodbury with his wife Molly and daughters Nellie and Charlotte.
